Every student will have timetabled sessions which will deliver guidance and taught elements on UCAS, applying to University, a programme of internal and external speakers on University applications, apprenticeships and other issues.
The UCAS procedure will be managed by Mr Roach, supported by Miss Cragg and Miss Rowe. Outside speakers on topics such as medical applications etc will be invited to speak to students. For Year 12 the UCAS cycle will start with a Parent and Student Information Evening in March with the programme of taught sessions beginning before Easter. Most of the UCAS sessions, trips and speakers will take place in the summer term. The application process itself begins in September of Year 13. Further details about UCAS can be found on the S-drive, Student Resources on the network.
