The Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team lead the provision for pupils of on the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities list. The SENCo (Mrs Lucie O’Brien) leads a successful department of Learning Support Mentors. Here at Tudor Grange Academy Worcester, we adopt a fully inclusive ethos and are committed to supporting the needs of all students throughout their education.

The SEND department offers a systematic programme of interventions that run throughout the year. As part of the graduated response; such programmes are carefully planned and reviewed to ensure that they are highly effective in raising both pupil’s attainment and developing their social, emotional and mental health needs. Students with a diagnosis and/or receiving additional support will be placed on our SEND register and their student profile (support plan which is shared with all teachers), will be reviewed termly in consultation with parents/carers and the child themselves. Look out for opportunities across the year to meet the team and attend workshops around areas of SEND.

If you feel that your child has additional needs that need exploring, please contact their tutor who will complete a SPA (single point of access) referral form to the SEND team on your behalf, or utilise the SENCo contact form below.
